I scrub the brown crap off mine with comet and use Meguiar's Hot Shine. It sprays on like an aerosol, and keeps the shine much much longer. It dries, so it doesn't attract dust like some tire shines do. For those of you that use foam spray, you will love this stuff and never go back!!! I get it at Advanced Auto for $5.79 or so. Check it out!!!

i have the stuff that says not to whipe off.....i whipe it off, that way i get about half the shine...so they are clean, but not mall crawler clean.

Little tip! tire shine works well on all of the faded (or unfaded for that matter) black plastic trim and parts. i use it on the plastic base of the antenna, plastic bed rails, and the plastic part that runs along under the windshield. also used it on the stock mudflaps when i still had them. just thought i'd share a little tip a buddy of mine informed me of a while ago :)

even when my trucks a little dirty and I'm too lazy too wash it I'll shine the tires and mudflaps and clean the windows about twice a week, people will still comment on how clean I keep my truck.

It's a black truck too so it'll get kinda dull looking to me sometimes.

I always do in the summer time. Most of the other months it just depends on what the weather is calling for.

Before I powder coated my wheel black, I would shine the tires. I used tire foam from armor all. I think it's pointless now....

Always Armorall them. Everytime I wash my truck it looks brand new by the time I'm done. I armorall the wheel wells, and skidplates, and rear mudflaps too.

Usually 1 to 3 days after I do all this I get a call to go wheelin' and it's all over after that.

Plus it acts like a rain dance: the more I put into getting my truck super clean the better the chance of rain or snow in the next couple of days.

I scrub tires and I use tire-shine stuff. No brand in paticular....whatever is cheaper at the time.

i use a cut round piece of cardboard to cover rim while spraying tire shine and keeps rims spotless.... i found a old metal trashcan lid the other day which fits over the rim perfect and has a handle to hold while i spray away... just a hint to make a lil easier for yall... yall have to try it works like a charm every time

Armor All tire foam. I wash my truck about once a month, and put that on once I'm done. It stays somewhat shiny for about 2-3 days.

westley's bleach white and scrub brush, then meguire's tire foam...the regular stuff, not the hot shine. spray it on, let it sit for a min and wipe off excess. tires will look new with clean white letters and will not look "greasy". as stated above, the foam does wonders for the insides of wheelwells, mudflaps and body trim.
