I want to take off a decal from the top side of my Black UWS Toolbox when you flip it open. Do you guys think a heat gun and a razor will do the trick without chipping the powder coat?

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Not sure how the badging/decal is attached, but I used a 3M Stripe Off Wheel to take off the pin stripping and badges from my truck. Best part, didn't harm the paint.

The powder coat will not come off with heat. If its actually pain it may peel but powder coat is baked on to metal.
