Damn Tree Pollen

No point in even washing my truck right now. This makes me sad. I find washing my truck very relaxing, almost zen-like.

DAMN YOU PINE TREES, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!!!

 

I hear ya man... Damn Oak trees too.. Getting me all sick too. Damn the trees. I washed my taco 2 times this past weekend just cause the pollen. grrrr

 

Damn, I completely forgot about pollen and how much a P.I.T.A it is! Its a tough task to keep your truck clean this time of year!

i park under a big ol oak everyday. the pollen is bad, but the sap is driving me crazy!

 

Yea, Can't forget about the Sap! I finally figured out a spot in front of my house that is juuust far enough away from the Sap trees...

 

I just got back from Spring Texas, I have never seen anything like this. The ground was yellow! Is it always like this at this time of the year?

 

I know what you guys mean! I freaken hate all the pine tree's around here! I park my truck at work near a couple tree's that I want to take a chain saw to. It sucks there's no where else to park.
Im ganna have to do a good claying this summer.

 

I lived in San Antonio for a long time and outside Houston for a while but where I am now (central NC) has the heaviest pine pollen I've ever seen. When you pull up mulch from the previous year there is a 1/4"-1/2" thick layer of solid yellow pollen! I washed and waxed my truck last weekend in preparation... there's just no point to doing it again until May. Although I am curious if the near-solid layer of yellow will make my SWB Tacoma look green!

 

Washed mine sunday, and woke up monday and I had a thick coat of yellow pollen from my neighbors tree. It stand out bad on my black truck too.

Roger that...I haven't washed my truck in over a month. I dust it every day, which takes about 2 minutes.

 

haha that explains what that crap is! I thought it was some kinda strange bird poo.

 

Move up to the northeast, we still have about another month to go before the pollen comes.

 

Most of the pollen around here, Vegas, is from Mulberry trees. The stuff is everywhere. When the wind blows, it turns the sky/area around the trees yellow. Then there are the flowers. They fall off the trees, and when they land on the cars it's like a pollen bomb went off. Olive trees give off a lot of pollen, but it's not as visible, just makes people with pollen allergies absolutely miserable for about a month.

 

Really dosen't show on my truck, But it's all over it. Also killing my sinus problems.
