I dont use armorall for that reason and over time it will fade it to white. So I just use a damp micro fiber towel. Now you could armorall and dont put it on too thick but I wouldn't take the chance. I know at most car wash places they use a mix of it. Half water to delute it. Just my 2c

I've used Armorall and have no problems with using it. If you do use it, don't get it on the steering wheel or areas you 'grab' with your hands (makes it slippery especially if moisture is on your hands).

I don't have anything specific that I use....McQuires interior clean spray (I think) but whatevers cheap. Regular moist wash clothe, MrClean magic erasers, window cleaners, vacuum, carpet cleaners. Nothing specific.

IMO, the Armor All problem thing is an urban myth. I've been using it on every vehicle I've owner since the mid 1970's and I've never experienced any problems with it causing drying, cracking, etc., and I use it a lot.

Is it the best product? That's matter of personal opinion, but I don't think it causes the problems some people think it does.

I use Armor All in my truck as well. I just just bought a sick shop vac, and every other cleaning in the inside, I shampoo the carpet.

If you use it alot you won't have the problem. But once you start using it you can't stop...If you were to just stop putting it on your truck and leave it without anything- it would dry out and eventually dull and contract which leads to cracking (I've seen it).

A wet cloth is tops for plastic and dash parts. 303 Aerospace Protectant if you want to use something "extra."
    Windows get Windex with newspapers.
I've got the Wet Okole seats- so I have the cleaners for those.
I've got a vacuum for rugs and a steam cleaner for the house- if I need it. Fabreeze is awesome for inbetweens- They make a "New Car Smell" bottle.

Just keep the Windex or any other ammonia cleaner off your window tint. ammonia will cause the tint to fade or turn purple...

Your post seems to make sense. The other ones do too in that those who use it use it all the time and have experienced no problems. Now how do you clean the windshield with newspapers, I have heard of it but always though it would either cause a mess or leave an ink residue. What is the 303 protectant? Thanks

me personally, i like PoorBoys Natural Look. It cleans great, also no a greasy dressing, has a light cherry scent but you can put it on anything, steering wheels, etc and its doesnt leave your hands sticky or anything like that. great for all all surfaces.

Newspaper will streak if you rub for a real long time with the same piece. But spray a little Windex or water (if you have tint) on the window and wipe it away. Newspaper is real absorbent and cleans some stubborn streaks better than paper towel w/ less lint.

303: http://www.303products.com/ They have a significant line of stuff for cleaning/protecting boats/cars/outdoor furniture.

I use Aerospace 303 on my interior plastic, bed caps, tonneau, and fender flares (non painted). I am very happy with this product. I picked it up at Ace Hardware.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
I just use Stoner's Invisible Glass and Trim Shine along with More Shine Tire Shine. For really bad exterior water spot windows, I use Spot-X from Home Depot.

I use diluted JOHNSON BABY SHAMPOO. Spray on microfiber towel and wipe away. Cleans well and smells nice. No chemical scent afterwards.

I remove dust in tight/small areas with a can of compressed air.

Old used (but clean) tooth brushes work great for this too.

They also work great for getting that left over wax residue out of the nooks and cranies.
