Purchased window and bug deflectors and it has the company name plastered on all pieces. I don't mind having it in one spot, however, their not paying me to advertise! Just want to know what I can use to wipe off their name without marring the plastic?

    Is it just a decal?

    Window deflectors - decal
Bug - painted on. It comes off if I scratch it with my fingernail, but I would like to use a solution that won't scratch the deflector.

Most of the "labels" on bug deflectors and window vent visors are silk screened on, and very easy to remove.

I removed the silk screened "Lund" name on mine with a paper towel and lacquer thinner.

I used blue painters tape to protect the surrounding area, soaked a paper towel with lacquer thinner and started rubbing gently over the label. After about 10 seconds it came righ off. I took a clean paper towel with some more lacquer thinnner and cleaned the area really well to get all of the silver paint (label) off.

After the tape was pulled off you can't even tell there was ever a label on the pieces.
