285x70x17 offset rims+ 1.5 spacers, rear Timbrens + 3 inch lift add a leaf, Sway-a-way coilovers + camburg control arms, Fender flares (2.5 inch), clear lights, headers, sliders, roll bar
Repainted my tail gate base/clear and ready to put original stickers back on.
what would be the best and safe way to proceed?
I might be wrong but I think its better to use some kind of water/soap solution so the stickers can be moved so its on straight.

use a plastic card to push air bubbles out of the sticker afterwards.
maybe windshield washer fluid, something that'll evaporate?

It depends... What kind of sticker is it?

My husband works with vinyl stickers and he sprays the surface lightly with soap/water mixture. Then uses a nylon squeegie to get the bubbles out. But...that's vinyl.

Have you called Toyota and asked them how they install them? \

The TRD decal on the tailgate is not the same material and definately not vinyl.

Years ago I worked for a Sign Co. and we just used water (in a spray bottle)when we installed vinyl letters on Bank doors painted surfaces. And of course what Janster said about the squeegie

Oh. I didn't notice you had an first gen. That would explain the difference.
