Thumbs up

I just wanted to say I think the Meguiars products are the best! The quick detailing spray work great and gives a mirror-like shine. In addition to using it on my Tacoma I used it on my 2003 black Rav 4 and it looks beautiful! You'd never know it was 5 years old. I'm a Meguairs customer for life now!

Its the Wolfgang Deep Gloss Total Concours Kit, and it includes:
16 oz. Wolfgang Auto Bathe
16 oz. Wolfgang Clay Lubricant
100 grams Wolfgang Elastic Poly Clay Bar
16 oz. Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0
16 oz. Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer
16 oz. Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz
2 Cobra Microfiber Detailing Cloths
2 Cobra Microfiber Applicator Pads
2 Poly Foam Applicators
Wolfgang Instructional DVD
Wolfgang Handbook

The Kit is $125.
Also wondering if you have recommendation on a good starter set of the cobra towels.

Thanks for the great tips!
Personally, I dont have any experience with the Wolfgang stuff, but I have heard nothing but praise about it. For $125, that seems like a great deal for all that you get.
As far as the MF towels, there are lots of opinions out there but in my honest opinion, any of the cobra mf towels are great... just get what you can afford. The blue ones ought to take care of all your needs though.
What are you trying to accomplish with your paint care? Do you own a orbital/buffer of some sort?

If you love the Meg's stuff, then you'd REALLY love some of the other brands out there

Mshu7, I use comet to take the wax of my truck before I re wax it! Is that a good thing to use or not?? It takes it all completely off, but i wasn't sure if it was good for the paint or what! If its not what is something good I can use(that may have been in a earlier post of yours but I missed it if it was)!!

Liquid!! Using powder, you run the risk of it not dissolving completely and dragging the granules all over you paint as you wash.

Just squirt a decent amount like any soap directly into the bucket and wash your truck like you normally would with a regular soap.
Just be sure to rinse it off a little more thuroughly just to make sure you get all the soap out and you dont wind up with streaks everywhere.

Anthony.....thanks for advice. This is a new truck, and I want to keep it looking that way. In the past I have used mostly meguiars products and after reading some of the other tips on this thread, I thought I might try some of these other products. Living here in Arizona, the truck gets a lot of sun. Also I do not own an orbital/buffer.

You should be good to go wtih that kit then
Smart choice going with a sealant instead of a wax for your weather application

I've got an awful lot of scuffs on my interior kick panels, and my center console lid is super grungy. What can you suggest to get rid of the shoe scuffs and grime on the console lid?

you can scrub it with a towel and some simple green to get the junk off, then go over the area with a protectant.

my fav so far is poorboys natural look, not greasy, and has a nice little cherry type scent to it.

talk to a paintless dent guy... one of my good buddies runs his own shop so i always just go to him.
if you find a franchiser... see if hell cut you a better deal with cash. everything they run thru the company, only nets them like 15-20% of the total bill where a cash sale "never happened"

Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA here recently. I've been really busy. I'm actually selling my '07 Tacoma due to some changes in my business. I'm no longer going to do mobile service. I'm opening my own shop here in the next few weeks. Getting rid of the truck will free up some $$$ for the shop. So, I probably won't be around here much anymore. But it looks like Anthony has got things under control here. Take care!

Thanks guys! Once I get the shop in order, I'll be sure to stop back by here and post some pics.

As far as my Taco is concerned, I absolutely love my truck. I truly hate to get rid of it but the business comes first so it's got to go One day down the road I'm sure I'll pick-up another one.

Take care guys!

Although I've only been a member since June, I learned so much from you! Really hate to see you go, but am happy for you that you're getting your own shop. Best of luck and thanks for all the great info you provided.
