    Amazing Roll Off works well.

I also use a brush and my hands to clean under the hood.

I put on latex gloves to protect my hands from the chemicals then put a pair of microfiber gloves on over the latex gloves. You will be surprised how easy it is to get the hard to clean places with your hands.

First of all, I have a decision I need help with in making achoice of which DA polisher to purchase. It was my 19th anniversary(April 13) and the better half wants to get me something I want. So I decidedthat is want I wanted/needed. I have been using a craftsman’s buffer for quitesome time and on my second one that is approximately 10 years old.

I know that I will be ordering through autogeek and I am in no rush. I usually look up reviews and get opinions from people that has used acertain brand or have a been in that business. I have seen the Porter Cable andFlex that has been mentioned the most in this thread. I haven’t read throughall the post but I come to TW for your input.

I want to take all of the swirls marks, water spots andwhatever else that needs to be done to make the vehicles not have a blemish If thatis possible. When I clean our vehicles without the waxing and polishing, it that’sme approximately 2-3 hours to finish one vehicle.

Mostly importantly, I need help choosing the correct padsthe do an entire vehicle. My opinion is that if you choose the correct padsthat it can possibly be done with any DA polisher. That’s just me but what thehell do I know because I have been using a craftsman (I WANT AN UPGRADE). Ithink I have a couple choices that I have made up and it’s probably between thePC or Flex, unless someone can steer me in another direction.
If I need to put more info just let me know.

    ^^^^

Look at Rupes. I caught one on a nice sale this past winter and loving it so far. Cost a little more but worth the cost.

Another question now after pulling up Rupes on autogeek. Which one would you choose if you were getting on? So many with all of the accessories that comes with it. The same way on the PC and Flex. I don't want to choose one that has something that I may not need but I don't mind spending $$$ if its worth it.

I would add the pads separately.

I caught a really good sale and saved about 22% off list price on the Rupes plus 5 pads. I just checked and it was a special SEMA sale back in November of last year.

I am getting ready to do a spring detail on the Tacoma and will try using some lake Country pads with the Rupes. I have done 2 vehicles with the Rupes and it makes it so much easier and saves a lot of time.

If I were you I would check into a Flex or Rupes. They seem to have more power when it comes to cutting which means getting rid of swirls quicker. Which means less time detailing. I just upgraded to a Flex from a PC. I was to get a new Flex for $306 to my door. Be patient, Autogeek and other sites run sales ever so often. Autogeek will do 15% off with no exceptions on polishers.

QFT Everything goes on sale at Autogeek sooner or later. Some of the BOGO's are worth it as well.

    Both are good choices.

I don't think the code "bunny15" is included for Rupes.

Yes, it works for the Rupes. This is one of the few times Autogeek does the no exclusions which means it can be applied to polishers. Just added a Rupes 15 to the cart and total came up to $314.49

Order some pads as well and take advantage of the sale. However the cost will go up.

What polishes do you have already?

Is there a big difference between the Rupes ES and the Rupes ES Bigfoot?

The bigfoot has a larger throw and can support larger pads. This means that the path across the body panel is wider and the orbital motion is larger in circumference.
