I bought a Porter Cable 7424 over 4 years ago & have never looked back. Here is a link for you...$99 from coatal tools w/ the 6" counterweight or get the kit which includes the 6" velcro backing pad & counterweight. If you are going to use 6" hook & loop pads that a lot of detailing sites sell, spend the extra $15 bucks. This kit will set you up for a long time. Autotopia or Griots has how to info on the how to....its work great & gives incredible results imo.

I use the PC7336, same basic model as 7424. It is worth the money. There are a few Porter cable videos at youtube.

I've had mine for a couple of years and used it on 3 vehicles regularly. I'm fine with it. It does a great job but it won't be fought over when I die.
