3rd wax, 32nd wash...

Well I am one of those guys that plans on washing his truck every week. I hear this keeps the bad stuff in the air and from the road from sticking into the paint as it will if left there. I mainly hand wash it with a few times through the spray only pull through wash. I use NXT Generation Tech Wax and the Meguairs Quick Detailer spray in between waxes every other week or so. I got to admit it still looks like I just got it though that was 8 months ago. Well, besides my mods; SockMonkey stickers, debadged of chrome save for the front Toyota Emblem, BHLM and blackened grill.

 

cool. yeah i use zymol wax as a primer then i take it off and add a second layer of meguires car wax. it keeps it lookin great. i also use the quick mist detailer. but what kind off cloth do you use to remove the wax. i use flannel cloths which work well, but i heard that terry cloths can actually scratch the paint surface

 

I just use regular cotton towels that have been washed but no fabric softner or dryer sheets used on them. I'd like to upgrade to some large microfiber cloths/towels one day.

yeah i had microfiber towls till i got oil on them. you know how father son projects are. so instead of spending 10 bucks for some i bought some flannel to replace them.
