ooops. late for work today and while rushing to back into a spot in the parking garage i scraped the wall with my front bumper pretty bad. wouldn't buff out. any suggestions on how to get the paint scrape out, touch it up, and get the bumper looking somewhat better? thanks

If you want a permanent like new fix, go to a body shop.

If you want to fix it cheaply on your own.... wetsand with 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper to smooth out the paint, assuming theres still enough there, then rattle can it with some clearcoat, dry, maybe wetsand some more to smooth it out after it cures. Done.

EDIT: Any leftover fine scratches you can take care of with a polish or compound.

This wont be the last time you scuff that bumper. I've done it so many times... and I consider myself a damn good driver, its just hard to tell over the hood of these trucks!

i would maybe sand it. get come color matched paint paint it and put a clear coat it. you should be able to get color match at dealer or maybe on line.

edit: i cone sider my self a good drive prob like everyone els. and a trick in parking garage. but you’r head lights on and if you watch the wall close you can tell how close you are. i agree it is kinda hard to see the very edge of the hood and corners.
