cleaning latex house paint off truck body

This isn't regarding a Taco but a chevy silverado but I'm guessing perhaps the same techniques may apply. This is for my father's truck - he had his house painted some years ago and the folks didn't cover the truck well enough and there are little spots of paint here and there.

Any product you can recommend that will take the latex paint off without harming the truck's paint? The truck is a 94' Chevy silverado - black.

 

A fine compound works well.

Don't use rubbing compound. It is way too aggressive for what you want to do and might not even do what you want.

Use detailing clay. Body shops use clay to take paint overspray off. It works great for bonded contaminants.
