Guess I never even said how pleased I was with discount tire, when I bought my wheels and tires I received them in like 2 days which was incredible. Also today I just found out I lost my lugnut key and they'll have 2 shipped to me in 2 days! Excellent customer service at discount tire!

I just bought a 2013 Double Cab to replace my 07 Double Cab that was totaled in a hit and run about a month ago. I had it just like I wanted it and now I'm starting over. Our new truck is a Silver Streak 4wd. Our old one was Indigo Ink with all black accessories including Pacer type 164 17x9 on 265/65r/17 General Grabbers AT2. I currently have the Rugged Trails on the stock TSS wheels in the same size. I would bet the wheels are 17x8. I can't decide between the 17x9 MK6 -12 in Gunmetal or the black Trackers. I have painted the emblems gray and blacked out the grill assembly and bull bar. I want something I can run the Rugged Trails on for another 30,000 miles and that will stick out a little past the fenders to give it a wider stance. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have any pics straight down the side? It looks like they are pushed out from the fender. I'm trying to tell how much they stick out.

I can't remember if I asked this question before but if these are 16x8 and -10 backspacing which is about 4" backspacing. The Guardians are 16x8.5" wide and not sure the backspacing. Which wheel would stick the tire out further. I like these with the -10 backspacing but also like the Guardian as well

I may be ready to pull the trigger on some MK6 in the Gunmetal in the 17X9 -12 within the next week, but when I looked on the website they were not listed in that size - only the bronze and matte black are listed. Can you still get them in the gunmetal and if so, how long would it take to get them?

I just chatted with Jim and made a phone call to order. Talked to Thomas. He was great over the phone and had all my questions answered quickly. UPS will be dropping 4 MK6 gun metal 16x8 -10 offset wheels with black lugs wrapped with 315/75r16 Goodyear MTRs at my door in days. Can't wait! My math from current setup says I need a little less backspacing (more -offset) so UPS will drop some 5mm machined aluminum spacers at my door also. I'll be at -15 offset which is 3.9 inch backspacing. I should only brush the front of UCA at full droop and full lock. A situation I would try to avoid at all cost anyways for sake of my cv shafts. I'll post picks of the setup on my little truck ASAP.

Sounds like a bad ass setup! Can't wait to see it! I think I may order some spacers for mine also.

Check these spacers out. http://http://m.ebay.com/itm/191132899470?nav=SEARCH They arent cast universal spacers which are junk. Look like a 3/16 plate aluminum machined out. 3/16 5mm should solve some minor rubbing issues. Beats my 315/75r16 on stock wheels and 1.25 inch spacers. The new setup should move me in 3/16 on each corner compared to current setup.

Discount Tire, do you know of touch up paint for these? I've had mine on for 2-3 months and noticed a couple really good rock chips in the finish (just a mall crawler).

I'm about to purchase these online. Just curious which backspacing would be best for a 1st Gen with a 2" lift and 265/75/16's Thanks

The 0off set is 4.5 inch baackspacing which is stock but the wheel is an inch wider. This will push the tire 1/2 toward the fender. The -10 offset is 4.1 backspacing which will push the wheel 1/2 inch toward the fender plus the 1/2 inch on the tire. The -10 offset should push the outside of the tire about even with the wheel well. Take a string and hang it off the flare at the top/center of the opening. Measure off the tire assuming you have a 265/70 or 75 tire currently. 0 will put the tire 1/2 inch closer to the string and -10 should be an inch closer. Just a way to figure out where you want the tire to be.
