I'm trying to find the specs for these shocks. I need the collapsed and extended lengths. You have those numbers?

These are the old #'s from the 880-02-418
same shock but with a Res.
Possibly could help...

Normally the Fox shocks will get set at around 2" of ride height adjustment out of the Box..Give or take a 1/4" up or down...

Where do you measure from on these to get the right hight setting?

And how do you turn the bottom part so everything will line up for install?

Good evening,
These shocks will come normally set out of the box at 2" of ride height change.4 to 5 turns will get you about an 1" more in ride height.
You are adding pre-load to the spring to add ride height.
Just be careful because the more you crank up a coil over the more you will start to loose the ride quality due to the added pre-load and you are taking away the droop travel.
You can rotate that rod end, its just a bitch because of the spring pressure that is on the spring plate which sits on that rod end..
Bar careful rotating it that you do not loosen the rod end.
Hope this helps...

thanks I didn't want to try to turn anything that would mess something up on these things and was trying pre set at about 2 1/2" of lift before I install them with hopes of less adjustment after they are installed

I would add about 3 turns to each one prior to installation.
The easiest way is to put the shock in a wall mounted spring compressor and take the load off of the pre-load nut and adjust it that way with no pressure on the nut.
Be very careful doing it this way...
