    This Fastenal had 3 of our bumpers shipped to them. I think they got sick of getting phone calls from us ery day. They where prob happy to get rid of the things! :D

    I'm going with a zinc primer under a standard black powder coat. I don't want too much texture as I would think it could start to create wind resistance. I'm sure it's a negligible amount but why add any amount of drag?

    At first I was going to have mine powder coated. But after doing a little more research, I'm gonna go with a spray on bed liner with a self etching primer.

    Anyone get prices for sand blasting and powder coating yet. I've had two places quote me about $350. The one quote included Zinc primer the other did not. The guy who was going to zinc it first has a good reputation locally. Seems a little steep price wise, but I don't want this bitch rusting on me, I tend to drive in places where salting roads is prevalent.

    Blasting and priming ran $125. Line-x is $225.

    And to answer a previous question, there was too much rust in some areas to line-x the bare metal. I spent the money on the bumper and am going to do it right. I didn't want the line-x to lift or peel. Plus I'm too lazy to sand/prime it myself so paid someone to do it for me and faster. :)
