Meaning that's the price I been quoted for getting it powder coated. And was told that price depends on either color match or different options such as gloss, matte, or textured finish. He goes a pic of my rear bumper with a black textured powder coat finish.

Gotta love fastenal. They called me back today and said the bumper is damaged. I can't get there till Friday so I guess we'll see. The lady said it looks like the brackets that bolt to the frame are tweaked. Will post on Friday.

I am not sure if you will like the product. I used it in the past in my Jeep Wrangler to cover the entire inside cab and the stuff is not as good as a powdercoat or line-X. It fades over time, has a rubber feel, and holds dirt easily. The cost is not much cheaper than having it professionally done. Oh, and it can be messy to work with. You really have to do a good prep job for the stuff to adhere to the metal.

as i thought that it would be a ridiculous price to get the bumper line-x i looked for a cheaper alternative so i decided to call and get a quote and wasn't as bad as i thought price wise was about 150-200 so think ill be going that route now thanks for the advice

Do you know the exact dimensions of the bumper, or do they just give you a quote based on a generic "bumper" getting Line-X'd ?

they said usually a steel bumper is 150 depending on how many tubs like the Center Light hoop with Half Guard that i got on mine said it could be between 150-200 and being a smaller pickup truck then say a full sized like the tundra I'm hoping it will be around 150 in the end maybe they will even give me a military discount :D

Here's a crappy pic of mine mocked up in front of my truck. You can see the little nipples sticking up. I think it's going to look good. Looks like a pain in the ass for Tim to have to add but looks like he did a good job with it. Mines getting powder coated as we speak. Gotta order my rigid lights and winch the I can post pics of it installed.

Yes, would like some mounted '12 pics. Shame there weren't a bunch floating around during the group buy, website doesn't even list 12 yet.

I will only ever have hardware shipped raw after I saw the guy from Con-Way unload our powder coated slider pallet. They just don't give a shit. Bummer man, I feel your pain.
