    Ok its official, Engage will be racing the new 1450 Truck at the Upcoming RECORD San Felipe 250 June 25th 2011

    the truck will be driven by Hass, (owner of Engage) and Navigator Vi Tang (winner of the short course drawing)

    we do not yet have the vehicle number as the drawing is June 23rd but we will keep everyone posted as we get the news!

    you so get ready!, we have Chris Klebe in Chase 2 going with us and my F-250 will be carrying the big equipment (welder, generator, spare parts), if anyone is interested in chasing let us know, we will be leaving thursday June23rd at 3pm and coming home Monday June27th around 2-3pm from San Felipe....

    sorry too busy to take pics....ha ha ha...we will post up pics when the truck is ready, new paint job and all

    this race is a mix of the baja 500 and the san felipe 250, starts in Ensenada and finished in San Felipe and uses both courses, should be a fun race

    The 'San Felipe 250' is a SCORE race in March... It was only once called officially the 'Baja 250' when the race once had to be moved to an Ensenada start/finish, a few years ago. Yet, vendors still sell 'Baja 250' products today.:rolleyes:

    RECORD is a Mexican off road racing organization, as is CODE... both put on off road races in northern Baja California. SCORE is an American organization founded by Mickey Thompson in 1973 and operated by Sal Fish soon after (so Mickey could race, his passion).

    The first organization to run off road races in Baja was NORRA with the 1967-1972 Mexican 1000 and the 1969-1973 Baja 500. Mexico took over the races in late '73 and had their first Baja Mil (1000) run by BSC (Baja Sports Committee) and a 500 in '74... both were failures and Mexico invited Mickey Thompson and his new organization to Baja.

    SCORE's first race in Baja was the 1974 Baja Internacional (eventually name changed to Baja 500). There was no Baja 1000 in 1974. SCORE's first Baja 1000 was in 1975... and in a few years they ran the 'Mexicali 250' race, eventually renaming it and moving it to San Felipe. SCORE has run three races in Baja ever since (250 in Feb. or Mar., 500 in June and 1000 in November).
