    Anyone else think this show has gone downhill?

    I was so impressed by season 1, then after season 2 it just went FULL drama. More about who slept with who rather than worrying about their situation at hand, stuck in a world full of zombies...

    There was the odd zombie kill here n there but it was mostly just small petty conflicts between the living.

    It's supposed to be that way. It's not a horror series, it's a drama series.

    The show is about people dealing with their surroundings, the surroundings just happen to be walking dead. It's illustrating that no matter what is going on in the world people still eat shit and fuck and fight over who did what in what order.

    I prefer more zombie action myself so last season was a bit a let down. The whole Andrea/Governor thing got a little tired but overall it is still the best show on tv in my opinion. Reading the comic book now after 3 seasons of the show is quite entertaining. I was about 10 years old when I saw the movie The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price which was based on the 1954 novel I Am Legend which was also the basis for Omega Man and I Am Legend with Will Smith. I have been hooked on the zombie apocalypse movies ever since. The original black and white Night of The Living Dead will always be my favorite. The Walking Dead definitely carries everything to new level. If you can believe the leaks coming out there will be more zombie action as well as new threat more deadly than walkers or humans coming this season. Also in 2015 there will be a spinoff of the show which will take place in a different location. I hope the new show takes place in a cold weather climate where walkers are easier to kill with other humans being the bigger threat. A lot to look forward to. I was pissed that Merle died but not Andrea.
