Zombie Apocalypse Show isn't Real Enough (The Walking Dead on AMC)

That could be plausible, but I thought the spin off was supposed to be a "new group with new characters."

Having Daryl back in the main group won't change the comic series storyline... Andrea is dead in the show, but is alive in the comics

 

Who the heck cares about Andrea though. I never liked her character

 

Her character is better in the comics anyway

 

I've heard the comics are pretty good

 

Just another soap opera episode =(. I get the point of character development (in this case Daryl's), but this season is becoming a drag...

 

The episode sucked bad. Maybe it's going to make next week's episode that much better, the preview at least looked really good.

Wtf happened to all that blood that was on her yellow shirt? She sure didn't wash it off... When she took off the white sweater thing, the yellow one had a good bit of blood on it, esp her right side... A little later, there wasn't any...

 

Mmysmr episode as to not compete with the grammys?

 

Stuff is probably 150 proof at least and she is 90 pounds and never had a drink. And she is able to guzzle it down for hours without the red sweaty face or passing out??

 

In the comics, Andrea is the female version of Daryl. She is strong and supports Rick through the tough times. Its what Daryl has been doing in the show. She was also kick ass with a riffle.

The comics are awesome, there is just enough difference in characters and events that you can read them without ruining the show.

 

This episode really sucked. Boring as hell. We already knew most of this stuff about these two characters. They could have did the Daryl/Beth shit in half the show and used the other half for something else. They should have opened the show with those guys in the house dealing with their walker buddy that Rick left for them. They should have had that walker bite Harley and then have Tony kill Len for choking him. It would have added some excitement to an otherwise boring episode. Will we ever see what happened to those guys or will that be just another of the many loose ends this show leaves us with? Tony got a good look at Rick under the bed maybe he becomes a problem in the future? This show is becoming pussified by creating potential tearjerker scenes and then making people wait in anticipation for them. I am sure they will get their money's worth out of the upcoming reunions. Rick/Carl and Judith. Glenn and Maggie. Beth and Maggie. Daryl and Carol. Ty and Sasha. Its all about ratings and that's what most people want to see I guess. I want to see more entrails being ripped from people while they are still alive. I want close ups of those entrails being eaten. I want to see more graphic walker kills. I want to see people coming up with creative ways of killing herds of walkers at once. I want to see more action and less sappy soap opera crap. They blew it totally with the Governor's death. The guy killed and tortured major characters soldiers his best friend and his own people. He beheaded Hershel and they let him die easily with a bullet to head. He should have been shown crawling away from the walkers looking for a gun to kill himself. Then after finding a gun it jams. Then some walkers close in and start biting and scratching while he screams. It should have shown him being disemboweled and devoured slowly. For the most ruthless villain so far his death was a huge disappointment. Hopefully things will improve soon.

 

Not much on this last episode, OZ you might have something there. When Beth tells Daryl he was meant for this. Meaning the ZA.


I guess Daryl had hes old habits , notice he picked up money and jewelry to later burn some money but kept the bag.

I believe Beth its legal so Daryl shouldnt have a problem getting freaky unless he now thinks of her as a sister.

Agree when you guys when I said it was a pretty boring episode. I understand it's suppose to be a 'character development' episode but it didn't keep me tuned in like last week.

And I LOL last night at the scene quoted above, Beth puts on brand new clothes only for Daryl to fuck it all up lol

Something along the line of "And Beth...a white cardigan...really??" on The Talking Dead

 

Beth and Michenno are the only two we have seen pick up new clothes. I don't know why she didn't load up a bag with a bunch of new clothes.

 

I've been wondering the same thing. All these stores & houses they've been in & they still wear the same nasty ass clothes.

 

I agree on this being cut shorter on the two of them. I had hopped that after all the bonding they did it would have lead to some romance, but no such luck!

 

"A new group, with new charecters" could apply to Daryl and Beth finding new people and not rejoining the rest of the prison group....it's a new group, and it has new people in it.

With that, They've already thrown out the comic storyline. Andrea is gone, Judith is alive, Sasha didn't exist, and Carol isn't dead.
