Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit was the best NFS game made. And, there's a new Hot Pursuit comin out. If it's anything like the original, I'll be gettin it, too!

For an old dude, I do like my racing games. I bought the PS2 and then the PS3. I've played just about all the racing games. GT3,4, and I'm still waiting for GT5. NFS Shift kicks ass, so does Grid and Dirt2. I even play the Burnout series.
I'd like to see Forza come to PS3, but it probably won't.

 

I played the Hot Pursuit demo and damn, it was just like the old one but with better graphics! I feel like a traitor saying this, but I will probably get NFS first and enjoy it more than GT5

 

only because it came out first! haha

So is GT5 really comming out, cause that last time I looked at best buy they said the game was delayed again and refunds where being given for the preorder if you wanted. This was last week when I was in...

 

Well nevermind, just seen the commerical for it to come out in 2 days.lol Hot damn i never thought i'd see the day....

 

Gamestop had told me they were delayed again until Jan 1st. I've waited for so long, I guess I'm still skeptical. They said they'd call me, so they frickin better!!! Hope I remember how to play!

 

X is gas. Thats all you need to know

 

I love it, its actually progressive and not just on/off. Plus in forza you can set it up so the right stick is gas/brake and the left trigger is the clutch. I bet you could teach someone how to drive stick with that its so realistic lol.

 

Ah, did not know that. I thought only the triggers were progressive on the ps3.

 

It's instores today?! WTF. My store said they won't release until midnight. Which sucks for me because I got called in to work until 12:45 tonight.

I'm just a little antsy. It's just that so many years of waiting has gone by. I'm a little paranoid they might be sold out, since I didn't pre order. If they don't have it, oh well, there's always tomorrow.

 

dude i love that, i use like o and h for shifting, does anyone know if they have a clutch option like in forza?

 

I've never seen a new game NOT in stock the day after it came out...(or even the day of! )

 

Release day is Wednesday, November 24. Typically new releases are available for purchase on Tuesdays, but Sony/ Polyphony Digital does whatever they hell they want apparently.
