Screw Microsoft and Xbox!! (RANT)

xbox should recieve my working console back tomorrow so i should get the refund this week. by weeks end i hope to be rocking the ps3.

It's all relative. If it's not worth it to you, don't pay. If it is, do. IMO, I've seen the content and marketplaces for both Playstation and XBox. I understand why many pay $60/month.

Millions of folks don't bat an eye paying $150+ a month to play an MMO, so whatever. Do whacha like.

 

Welp.

Wade from Microsoft Corporate randomly called me up this afternoon saying they had done an audit of my disputes and escalations. After asking me several questions about what happened he said they are going to send me a brand new xbox slim with 250 gb HD and a year of xbox live for free. Should be here in 7-10 days. We'll see if it actually happens but it's nice to know that even if the call was 5 months too late, that some people in multi-billion dollar companies still care about customer service.

You can redeem the activation code on your console by following the directions below:

· Log into the preferred account (Gamertag) for the subscription. *Make sure that you are on the preferred account to redeem the token. In other words, the account where you redeem the code will be the account that will have the active Xbox LIVE Gold membership access.
· Go to the main menu
· Press the big X button on the middle of the controller
· Press left twice to get to the Marketplace
· Highlight Redeem Codes and press A (green button)

Good thing I never really get on the ps3. I didn't feel like spending money on games for the ps3 that I already beaten and played online on the xbox. but it certainly sucks not being able to stream movies.
