Haha yeah it is one of my favorites. Besides the slightly over the top cars and some of the plot holes... it's great.

I think Tokyo Drift was probably the 2nd best of the series... followed by #4.... and that piece of shit 2 Fast 2 Furious. Don't think #5 will be any better than 1 or 3 though.

Yeah I watched it last night for the first time in a long while and it's just a fucking cool movie. I was so close to buying 2 Fast 2 Furious today but as I was walking to the register, I read some imdb reviews and they were all shit haha. I've seen pieces of Tokyo drift and I didn't like it that much but it helps to see it all the way through. Never seen 4 either. I get the feeling 5 probably isn't gonna be too good.

Nothing will beat the original imo

It's a piece of shit. And every movie that it has spawned has been a piece of shit.

I know that's my opinion, but it also happens to be true, which gives it that extra oomph to get over the top.

    Piece. Of. Shit.

I hate to admit it even though it's a complete automotive cinematic abortion I do like it. It's just one of those guilty pleasure things. I appreciated Rhys Millens driving in Tokyo drift but that movie was fucking horrible.

Or "10 second" races that take over a minute haha

Whenever I watch the movie it takes me back to the early 2000's... ya know the good old days haha. Even though I was only like 10... I was still a car nut. Always dreaming of the one day where I could drive a Supra, RX7, S2000... whenever I watch the movie it takes me back to the time when those cars were still "new".

I like them. When I need mindless automotive entertainment they usually fit the bill pretty well.

They will NEVER be as good as anything Hal Needham and Burt Reynolds did together, though. Impossible.

I love to hate them. Some of the lines are just so ridiculous that its hard not to laugh.

(Scene outside the diner in the first one)
Hey man, he was in my face!
Now I'M in your face. (To vinny) YOU EMBARRASS ME!

I live my life a quarter mile at a time.

    etc. Makes me laugh :D
