    Those of you playing the PC version, what are your system specs? What FPS are you getting and at what settings?

    I am thinking of upgrading my PC to play this. I know I need a new video card (thinking about a GTX 560 Ti) and not sure if I can get away using my old Core 2 Duo 2.4 ghz. Or if this game relies heavly on the processor I may upgrade to a Core i5 3.3ghz (then I'll need a new MB too...)

    I think the max FPS the game wi display is 30. It might be better for comp, but I know that's what it is for console

    havent checked my fps... but the dual core will be ok if you have alot of RAM to back it up, just the map will load slower thats it

    I just preordered a game for the first time ever yesterday....Course it was BF3. The beta was really glitchy for me but I saw flashes of greatness that I hope hinted at the final game.

    Yeah I don't have Superman stats like some people I've seen on the Battlefield forums--I just can't see them enjoying themselves when they are thinking about their precious 8 to 1 K/D ratio that they have spent countless hours creating by whoring the choppers on Atacama.

    Yeah I've played a bit...:cool: But I will say BFBC2 is the only game I play, I'm not spending that much time playing like ten different things, and lastly I bought it the day it came out so 350 hours spread out over 500 days isn't that bad.....right?:lalala:RIGHT??

    Exactly. To break it all down.

    People were constantly complaining about how the beta shit and kept disconnecting. Know why? It wasn't a test for the game, but for the servers. Ever notice how you play in one game, people are under the map. Then the game disconnects, you join a new one, and it's all patched up? You were playing the game on their server, which hosts the map.

    This is the big common sense thing for the debate between MW3 and BF3 though. If ANYONE is drunk enough to think that MW3 will be better, consider this. BF3 had a total of 8 MILLION testers for the beta they released. And they tested the game for 2 weeks.

    MW3 had a couple thousand testers... that's it. that's a 4,000:1 ratio

    It was a beta, not a demo. HUGE difference. Beta's are essentially the roughest version of the game that they use to find glitches and bugs.

    I guarantee you, the final cut of the game will be 100% better
