They actually have brand new boxes. You have to manually go and get them though. The new DVR's are much better then the older ones. I still have the old one because I am to lazy to reschedule all of my programs on a new box

The new guide (actually whole OS) is only available in parts of FL and CA. I cannot wait for them to roll it out nationwide.

x2. me and dad wear talking about it last night. it’s going to suck. BUT maybe it will just last a few months. i think it was about this time last year we lost VS (and maybe a few others i don’t remember)for a bit because of the same reason. so will see what happens.

I have u-verse right now. I had them in san diego and loved it. PCS to Arkansas and they had just got it where I lived, that was back in January. I've had nothing but problems with it since day one. Between it not working half the time and my bill going up every month for god knows why, I am thinking about switching to direct tv. Mainly for sunday ticket so i can watch the chargers but have been hesitant because of the whole 2 year agreement. Has anyone had both of those services?

This seems to be true of most providers , I talked to a customer rep at my satellite provider and got a large $25-$30 per month discount

Stuck with Dish for another 8 months. Then I'm cancelling it all together. Streaming is the way to go!

OTA - installed a HD antenna on the side of the house where nobody would really notice it. That gets fed into a splitter/amplifier that goes into digital tuners. It works really well but I do miss some of the paid sports programming. Saves a ton of money - can't complain about that.

I hated Comcast so much I made the switch to OTA and saved a bunch of money. Guess I should really be thanking them.

does anyone have an NHL Gamecenter Live Sub? I had switched to Cox cable, 2 years ago to get the NHL Center Ice Package, but i got sick of paying for it because it was not offered in HD, not one game all year!!!!!! Im not paying $150 for low def hockey. Now i am switching back to ATT UVerse but they dont offer the NHLCenter Ice at all. Wondering if anyone has the Gamecenter Live, and if its possible to share passwords because my buddy and I may go that route
