    I went opening night and sat right dead centre of the theater. Probably 1/4 capacity filled.

    Also it was opening night on a Thursday at 0020. Movie got out at like 0245. Not too many people wanting to stay up that late on a week night. I had to work at 0800 that morning. It was worth the pain.

    I thought it was very good. Typical Ridley style, provoking thought and leaving more questions than answers. This makes a good sci-fi film. A lot of people bitched at the movie but I see that those complaint usually come from people who want shit spelled out for them and/or don't know much backstory and theory behind this saga (hypothesis of directed panspermia, mystery of the space jockeys, the xenomorphs, etc...). It's a very complex and mysterious genre.
