Command & Conquer: Red Alert Retaliation ----Wow that was years ago.

    Battlefield 1942 was fun.

The Halo series was great, the story line has got to be the best of any game. I am hoping they don't ruin Halo 4.

    +1

The farther back I think, the better the game is in my mind. I had an Atari and I spent hours and hours and hours playing TANK when I was 5 or 6. When I think about those times I think that that was so much fun.

Then I think about playing Track and Field on NES with all my cousins with the pad. That is probably one of my greatest memories of all time.

SNES had F-Zero. I couldn't believe how amazingly detailed that game was. It was like I was on a different world flying an alien race car. Again, hours and hours.

    N64? Fucking Goldeneye.

Those were the games I grew up on. And as I think of each of them, my mind says, that was the best game you ever played. But I think that's because the mind sweetens all your memories. It's what makes "the good ol' days" so great. But I guarantee that in 15 years when I think back on Battlefield Bad Company 2, the HALO series, and the Forza series, Those games will be greatest I had ever played.

I guarantee, GUARANTEE, that if you came upon my younger self playing Goldeneye and plopped down a 360 and started playing Battlefield 3 on a 42 in flat screen I would say "fuck James Bond and fuck dual wielding AKs, LET ME PLAY THAT GAME!"

Really?! Thats awesome. One of my first favorites that i bought was a dual 4 disc case with Red Alert and Tiberian Sun. So many hours put in those games.

ya.. i played the crap out of those games when westwood was making them, but i rarely played them when i was working at EA. i worked on command and Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight, Commanders Challenge, Tiberium (cancelled), Command and Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath, and Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. EA tried to make the games for the mass market and i think that the game play suffered because of it. the games still had high production value, but they were short and they took the 'S' was out of RTS.

I liked C&C3: Tiberium Wars/ Kane's Wrath honestly. But I heard that C&C4 was complete garbage. I saw the ending on youtube and it was such a joke, it looked like it was filmed on a $10 budget.

Westwood was better at making them though.
Aren't they making another Command & Conquer game?
