    and it almost just went out the window.


    hdmi was freezing on me over and over and the disc was load as all hell.

    a support rep had me restart all hardware move hdmi port and hold ps3 power button for 5 seconds, now it works... for now..... it is safe until next time.

    I got a PS3 when they first came out and mine shit the bed within the first hour of using it lol. I returned it and haven't had an issue since.

    i had an original 80 gig that just died a year ago almost exactly, ive had the new 120gig i think and its been fine, if it happens again i would probably take it back and try and get a new one, ive never heard of anyone personally whos ps3 was bad right away

    I bought it from Best Buy at the time and they gave me a replacement no questions asked since I had just bought it. Contacting Sony directly would have been my second option but Best Buy took care of it.
