Scary video games

I love a Great scary video game..I wanted to know what scary video game that you guys thought rank #1 on your list?

I recently just re-installed Doom3 on my pc. I played it when it first came out yrs ago. Has anyone else played doom3? For me the music,sound effects,real time light shadowing..being on Mars. I forgot how scary this game was. I'm gonna play all the way through again.

BioShock. It's the first video game that I've come across that actually takes advantage of my surround sound. you can hear water dripping and faint footsteps coming from behind you, and when you turn around, the sound moves with the character. It got to the point where I couldn't play at night.

 

x10 on bioshock...that was a awesome game..the sound was amazing..and the storyline and gameplay

i dont really play alotta video games anymore due to not enough time to just sit and play......................so i couldnt answer on newer games, although some look spooky as hell, but a good while back, i was playing a resident evil game(not sure which one.....it was playstation1) about 2 in the morning. i came up these stairs, and weird ass music was already playing, when i got to the top of the stairs...i turned left, the a friggin zombie popped out and started eating my neck. that was pretty damn freaky.

 

I gave up on 1st person shooters...I'd play in the dark on a big screen and I'd get all into it and amped up about stuff going on around me and my game play would suck.
Puzzle games and racing stuff is my poison now.

Ya Doom 3 is frickin scary! I have it on XBOX. F.E.A.R. is also a scary game - definatley one of my favorites of all time.

You want a game that will make your change your undies? This is it. It's equal parts The Thing, Alien and DooM3. I've played this game through twice now, and even though I know what's coming, it still makes me nervous. Highly Highly underrated game. You owe it to yourself to at least try this game.
This game is scary like Silent Hill, and makes DooM3 look like a Saturday morning cartoon.

Me too! Gotta love them GTA series.
Although I got a friend with like 3 different consoles and usually play the XBOX scary games...so whatever those are. lol

 

Fear2 is down right spooky at night. You will hear footsteps or a little girls laugh right behind you and turn around and she will not be there or either some bigass monster will jump at you as soon as you turn around. Sometimes you will turn a corner and this ghost thing will come flying at you, i empty a clip into him every time even though i know its not gonna kill him. But overall with lighting, shadowing, textures, sound etc this is a very good game as well as a very scary game.

 

Who has GTA 4? I might get it soon
