PS4 / Xbox One... Reviews in Progress

I played earlier this morning. For a beta, it does offer more than the boring COD style play. I dig it.

 

Yeah... from what I played so far I like it. Seems like it is going to be a good game. Like you said... much better than COD

 

im leaning to ps4 cause I end up buying 4 xbox360 due to the redring and yes I had it fix four different times

 

PS4 is the winner IMO but Titianfall is fun as shit on the XBOX.

 

Titanfall is about the same as cod.

Its big winner is that it is different. Essentially it is a similar game but because it is different and new it gets the win in my book. I love it but I will admit it is real easy to spawn control right now

 

Agreed... I've also adopted hoping in and out of the titian. and put him on follow mode. Little diversion tactic. Or... just park him at a capture point. I enjoy the verticality of the game though.

 

wtf! follow mode, I didn't notice that in the first beta. damn. is it still the same multiplayer with AI running around and kills only count if you kill actual online players? you still got points for killing the AI but my kill count only increased when I killed an actual player.

I played the first beta and it consumed me for the four days I played it so since I had already played it I gave it to him. I thought this new beta would be just like the first one so I didn't see the need to play it.

 

Yeah you get points for killing everything but your kill count only goes up if you kill another player. It gives you 2 options when you get your titian. One to guard and one to follow. I put it on guard at a capture point because I like to run and gun unless there are more than one titian on your same team. If you're the only one you're pretty much toast. Follow mode it just follows you around. I use that as a diversion every once in a while. Jump out, cloak, jump on the other titian and rip it apart with my gun while my titian shoots at it too.

 

It is a fun game but I can see where it will be like COD and probably get old in a short amount of time. There is just enough to keep me interested in it because of the vertical stuff and the maneuverability.

 

If the game is the same as it is now a month after release (obviously with the extra maps guns etc.) This will be one of the greatest FPS games ever IMO

 

I agee..(with the caveat of Destiny and The Division) I curious what the extra titian perks will be and different weapons. I think we are only seeing a very small sample of what is going to be available right now.

Fuck I don't want do work tomorrow. sigh....

 

I've found out pretty quick... who ever has the most titans are going to own the map. That is when I usually just set mine up at a control point as a decoy.

Nope... I really wanted to get some good playing time this weekend but I've got to work tomorrow. I'm going to play some more tonight though. Not sure when beta closes this time but I assume tomorrow night?

I've seen enough to know that it will keep me occupied for a while. It has just enough new ideas that make the fps fun for a while. Once destiny, watchdog, and the division comes out I'll most likely trade this game in on destiny or the division. Which ever comes out first.
