I think I became jaded when I had to buy 3 / 360's because of the RLOD. They would last just long enough to get out of warranty then it would self motherfucking implode. I guess I can't be too upset about that because I played the shit out of them so I got my money's worth out of them. Just pissed me off.

I bought a PS3 for Uncharted and became a big fan of the system. I got lucky and picked up a ps4 right after launch. I agree that the graphics are better but not really noticeable. I really just got the Xbox One for Halo and Titanfall. Though I must admit my enthusiasm has faded a bit for Titanfall over the last few days. Much like SoCal said.... it is getting pretty repetitive. It's hard for me to admit that but in reality it is. The core mechanics are basically the same as COD with the exception of wall running. Maybe I've just played too much in too short of time?

I've found myself splitting time between my gaming pc, COD on the PS4, and Titanfall. ESO comes out in a few weeks and we already have a guild set up for that and I've got a 30 slot vent server which I'll probably have to expand. If anyone is interested in ESO let me know. We have always been Into hard core raiding so it looks pretty cool at the moment.

Yeah me too. It has promise but I thought the same about SWTOR also and was pretty disappointed. I'm holding out my expectations on this one.

Agreed on the Titanfall part. Maybe i am just getting older and dont find the enjoyment in online shooters. I played the shit out of Halo 2 in college and was online a ton, just cant get into Titanfall for more than 5 or 6 games a night TBH. I was never really a fan of COD, so that might be part of it. I should start adding people on here so i at least have some friends to go online with. The game itself is good, not knocking that, just hearing kids screaming after working 10 hours isnt my idea of relaxing.

MGS:GZ does come out today so that should be in the mailbox, but it is more or less a demo for when the real game comes out so that wont hold me over for more than a month.

I was a big fan of Skyrim, is ESO like that in a sense?

Yes and no. It has a lot of what makes Elder Scrolls games good and the crafting is going to be pretty damn awesome from what I can tell. It's a little hard for me to get used to a MMO that only has 5 or so skills so. I'm reserving judgement on the game right now. I played in almost all the betas except for the last few and I gave those codes away because I've seen enough to know the game is solid and I'm going to buy it.

I had HUGE expectations for SWTOR and it fell way short. I could only play it for a few months and just found it boring. That sucked because I had been looking forward to that game for years. So I'm not going to fall into that trap this time. I've go no real expectations for the game so if it turns out to suck (doubtful) then I'll have lost nothing but the price of the game and maybe a month or two in sub fees.

I agree with your points about Titanfall and really I hate to say that. The beta was so good and the game is good. But I agree with you and in reality it is just the same thing over and over. I still love Halo and I'm looking forward to the game. I've always loved Halo Multiplayer more than COD so we'll see how that pans out. I'll be gone to Colorado for a week or so, so maybe when I get back I'll be ready to play again. But... ESO comes out then so I dunno?

I'm not knocking Titanfall in anyway. I think that was the only direction that that genre can go. COD IMO is done. Titanfall I believe they can build on and the DLC that comes out might change my mind on the game. All in all it is a vast improvement over COD series.

See, ive been burnt out on COD for years now. I think the last one I actually played and enjoyed enough to keep was World at War. I havent played anything past modern warfare. they are all the same. I miss the old war days. lol

so, maybe thats why Titanfall seems so incredibly awesome to me! lol and hopefully wont seem repetative. but.. on the same note.. i can binge nerd for hours and hours playing Gears of War and Battlefield online. i love online multiplayer games. i dont even buy games for the story anymore. i base my purchase off the multiplayer and the campaign second. lol

I'm exactly the same way. I never buy online games for the story. That was one of the things that kind of intrigued me about Titanfall. Again... I think the game is good. I really like it but since I have played so much COD I'm finding it hard to separate the two at the moment other than wall running.

See I said a few weeks ago it looked like Call of duty with Mechs. But I to agree it is a great game I do Like the differences and and it is a fun game to play (for like an hour). Then it gets to repetitive and I have to go play or watch something else.

Skyrim was a fantastic game. That was the only Elder scrolls game i have played. I think i have over 100 hours into it. I like the fallout franchise better, but if you want to kill alot of time pick it up.
