New PS3 or Xbox360?

they extended the warranty for RROD on all xboxes for three years.

 

Seems a lot of people say PS3...

I'm going to fix the Xbox. I already have it broken down almost all the way. Not much more to do to it now.

I don't know how much I'm really feeling the PS3 though. The game choice doesn't seem nearly as good as the xbox game selection. But blu ray would be nice...

I'll just keep thinking about it I guess. I'll probably make my decision tomorow or so.

I read on several sites that the PS3 Blu-ray player is not good enough to replace a standalone player. If you don't watch a lot of movies, it will be fine, but if you watch a lot of movies, I wouldn't rely on the PS3.

Xbox360 now has a free extended warranty, either 3 or 5 years for the RROD.

 

Just an update guys... I got the PS3.

So far I'm not feelin it as much as my box. But I think it'll come around. Especially when I get KillZone2.

I like the xbox dashboard a lot more. It just seems more interactive or something. I don't know.

But the PS3 is pretty cool. But it's not replacing my (dead) box. Which I'm still fixing. LoL.

But fer rearry, PS3 it. You can actually install a separate OS onto it through Sony's stock OS...like windows, OSX, linux, others...it's teh shitz!!!
(and it does other awesome shtuff too)

Fix the 'box if ya want but GET A PS3! Thats my vote. It has a Bluray drive and the graphics are amazing. The game library is also beginning to increase in size and most of the good games for 360 also come out on PS3 so there isn't much downside. Besides- online gaming is free too!

 

some how dude I think your just use to the " dead box" given some time, and getting use to the new system I think you'll turn around, a couple buddies of mine had had both and told me the games that come for both, look shit loads better on teh ps3. I hope you enjoy it.

 

i don't notcie a lack of game titles for my PS3. might have something to do with the fact that i've only been playing COD 4 & 5 for the past few months. i don't see a need for a new game until COD 6 comes out

 

I see you have great taste in games. haha. I played those games countless hours on the box. They are great games.
