Terminator Salvation

Rocks. My only beef was the PG-13 rating kept more of the swearing and gore that was prevalent in the first and second movies (I like to pretend T3 doesn't exist).
Never the less this movie is Terminator, Mad Max and Top Gun (The non homoerotic parts) rolled up in one. Solid action flick that won't disappoint you. A few number of cameos from various actors. I won't spoil it for you, but you'll shit a brick when you see them.

 

this is on my list to see. rise of the machines wasnt too bad................kristanna loken is pretty friggin hot!!

Don't bother, the movie sucked. Cool CGI effects... one of the new terminator types was awesome (I won't say what for spoiler sake).

Other than that, the plot didn't exist, horrible acting, completely and utterly NOT Terminator or the appoc future depicted in the first few movies. Oh yea, massive, gigantic gaping plot holes and "wtf" impossible type moments that utterly destroy any sense of getting into the movie. (seriously, how many nuclear blasts can you survive at point blank?)

Save the $10 and rent it on netflix.

Sad, an action packed Terminator movie and I was watching the clock waiting for the end...

Seeing the giant robot with the cycles come out the leg in the previews makes me wonder if it will be too far fetched. I'm listening to further teedub reviews now.

 

I saw it last night. I am a fan of the whole series. F$&^# sucked that they cancelled the TV show. Really pisses me off, they wait until you get interested then "pull the plug" (no robot pun intended). Anyway, I thought Salvation was pretty good. Especially all the little things: 1- Sarah's picture and voice on the tapes 2- The blown up gas station from the first movie (where sarah stopped at the end) 3-The Arnold look a like (actually Roland Kickinger) 4-The phrase "No fate but what we make" 5- The scare on John's cheek, we see how he got it. There were several others but you'll just have to watch it.

 

I enjoyed it. It wasn't great, but it was good.

 

I watched it last night. Made me laugh a lot. And the other people didn't appreciate that.

I thought it was cool. It was entertaining and action packed. Like most action flicks these days, it lacked some story but made up for it with special effects and action. I said action too many times in this. Action.

 

I have mixed feeling -- I was really looking forward to it. It was overall pretty decent, but I left still feeling "hungry". I really hate that Chronicles got canned that sucks arse!!!!

 

I know. The sad part is, with this movie stirring new interest the show would've done better this coming season. Such crap.

 

This thread contains 100% of the good things I've heard about the movie. I'll be waiting to rent it through Netflix.

 

Yeah I was a huge T1 and T2 fan!!! T3 was a total f--- up IMO. After T3, I was very disappointed! T-Salvation looks pretty good but I am going to wait until it hits the Redbox. I don't go to the movies much anymore these days.

 

As much as it costs, who can afford to??? I use my college ID whenever I go (the picture is now 8 years old), but they stopped giving student discounts on Fri/Sat nights, so I stopped going.

 

4 dollars in College Station and 3.50 before 6:00

 

I saw it yesterday and I liked it. Funny thing is that i've never seen part 1,2, nor 3.

 

Oh hell, it can't be that bad.

I just put it on my 'Netflix' Que. I never go to the movies - too damn expensive.

 

Too bad it doesn't have the Governator in it.
