i watched the gemma/tara scene sitting in a ball in my recliner with my hand over my mouth and the rest peaking through fingers. i couldn't freakin handle it with jax in there. wow, i did not see it coming. i was so hoping gemma would flip on tara and the cop would still be in the house and he would shoot gemma. . . . been in shock all day still. wow.

Katey Segal better watch her back. you know she's going to be standing in line at a starbucks in hollywood this week and some Sons fan is gonna see her and just flip out

 

I saw it coming when Gemma had her breakdown. I kept telling myself "no, they wont do that" Sure enough they fuckin kill her! I was also curled up and yelling NO! NO! as she was stabbed repeatedly.

I also thought Juice would take the fall for Gemma and put his prints on the murder weapon but i guess not... Fuck this show, im done. This is just like Dexter when they killed off his wife.

 

That shit was ridiculous!

Hopefully they'll only do one more season and wrap it up before it gets tooooo silly. This season, even with all the craziness, was starting to ask way too much of my ability to suspend disbelief. The constant renegotiations of deals with Patterson was wearing thin and they're definitely running out of viable story lines and look to be heading down the "shock value" road. Plus I was hoping to see collette's fine ass one last time, not Tara's brainz...

 

Kurt Sutter has already stated on multiple occasions that he only wants 7 seasons out of this show. My mind was absolutely blown from that episode though! More than impressed/confused!

 

I stayed away from this thread until I had a chance to watch the final show of this season. Turns out Kurt Sutter was more pissed at Tara than some of us were! Carving fork to the back of the head!!. Season seven is going to be busy closing down all these lose ends. This show has killed more people than saving private Ryan!..........oh yea Juice is still a pussy.

I think Kurt is setting up the final storyline around Gemma. Tara's death, the truth in Gemma's role in JT's death which Jax still doesn't really know. Kurt hinted at it when Gemma told Nero about it this season. Kurt's writing is taking Jax's character arc into a Shakespearean tragedy. He was part of the same kind of writing on 'The Shield' I thought he was going to reveal or possibly resolve that arc this season because he kept adding to the back story. In a writing sense maybe what he's setting up is that while Clay was certainly bad and did horrible things, that it was really Gemma, the real evil behind the throne, fueling the fires so to speak. That it is really Gemma that hurt Jax more than anyone else.

 

I will say that Sutter knew he wanted to do 7 seasons but IMHO - I feel he might have crammed TOO MUCH into this season. IDK - he's the master writer so it might work itself out but it was alot to process in 13 episodes.

I'm sure it was in most part to have Jax world crumble in an avalanche of shit all at once to make it all the worse.

Gemma is the center of all things fucked actually. She's the main root in the tree of this whole shitstorm.

Gonna be real real interesting how Kurt ends this next summer. I'm excited but sad as fuck at the same time. Been an amazing time watching this (all other shit shows aren't worth having cable) so it''ll suck when it's over.

Me and the girl are going to wait until show completely ends then start it all over again from the begining.


Only thing I'm really unsure about thus far is the "ghostly homeless chick".....I understand who and what she is but unsure how or if Sutter is going to reveal her true meaning.

 

I just read some stuff. Maybe I missed this episode, or wasn't paying attention. But in one of the episodes it shows the crash that killed JT. Supposedly a woman was killed in it as well. In episode 9, the woman throws the wrench through the window and is again in the clubhouse later that day. Is her mother the ghost? Was she with JT during his death? Maybe she was his "guardian angel" so to speak... whether a real woman or an angel.

Edit to this with my thoughts after going through it all...
What if she is really Jax's mom? The reason Gemma could be so protective of the boys might be because she couldn't have kids? Maybe her and Clay had an arrangement of some sort?
