I don't think he gets mayhem. It may get the vote but he'll have a heart attack or something first is my guess per the weird limp at beginning and the reiteration of Gemma's surgery. He dies of a broken heart.

 

I think Jury's comments about JT taking himself out to save the club is foreshadowing for what Jax will do. He wont make his club vote for Meyhem and SAMCRO couldn't survive killing him, even if they tell themselves that they could. Jax made a deal with them to vote Meyhem, so he has nothing to loose by taking himself out and everything to gain for his club. He would be remembered as a fallen rider and not a murder.

I think the "unwritten" bi-law he made a deal to have revoked, was to get the Grim Bastards patched over.

I actually thought it was perfect. Mom n son hanging out one last time, tons of shit going thru each of their minds, and I loved how they didn't write it to where she begged and pleaded and "jax don't, you don't have to" blah blah blah. I thought it was all fitting.

Plus......it was still his momma!!! Wasn't like he was gonna behead her and have everyone run a train on the skull!!

That's how i took it. Jax knows he's dead in a week.

When Jax asks Nero to take Wendy and the boys to the farm, Nero says “They can come down whenever they want,” then Jax says “I hope they do,”...some past tense shit.
