Its just a relatively new band called silversun pickups. I am liking them so far!

 

i thought it was a chick when i heard them, but my wife kept saying it wasnt. The bass player is a chick tho

The singer is Brian Aubert, sounds like a chick. I'm gonna have to check out some of their other music.

 

They had another song that got a lot of radio time here called Lazy Eye. It was kind of wierd but I liked it

Sounds like a guy to me. I would think that a woman would have to smoke a ton of cigarettes to get that grittiness to her voice. I think they're using some sort of distortion or something on his voice, as well. I think whomever up there mentioned Corgan has the right idea.

 

I recently saw them on the Palladium HD channel doing "Unplugged". It was pretty good, def different sounding but I also thought about Billy Corgan when I first started watching it.

Silversun pickups are pretty good. I listen to them a lot. Listen to the distiller, draining the blood its sounds like a guy.

one of my favorite bands they put on one hell of live show
