If I'm not mistaken, Phil played every instrument on the Face Value album w/ "In The Air Tonight" and with Gensis before Peter Gabriel left. He also played with Led Zepplin at the Knebworth festival. And Don Henley played drums for the Eagles. Both underated and somewhat unknown as drummers.

I am a humongous music freak with an a**load of useless/useful info.

    Some other influences are:
Neil Peart - Rush, Matt Cameron - Soundgarden/Pearl Jam, Mike Portnoy - Dream Theater, John Bohnam - Led Zep, Virgil Donoti - session drummer, Dave Grohl (great musician)- Nirvana/Foo Fighters, Mitch Mitchell - Jimi Hendrix, Max Wienberg - Conan Late Show, The Roots...

My list could go on for days.

Lamb of God is too heavy for my tastes, but Adler is an awesome, fast drummer. I listen to them sometimes just for the musical appreciation.

:D My friends game me that nickname due to the way I play. I tend to beat the sh*t out them, yet maintain control.
