I was thinking about him but I think he's still wrapped up in a Dodge Ball contract - Who knows, maybe they'll buy out his contract!

 

Why? I see it as another opportunity for someone else to play. Basketball has become a primarily black sport. And anyone who disagrees needs to look it up. If it gives some white guys a chance to play professionally then great. I would feel the same way if more blacks wanted to play hockey or swim professionally as these are primarily white sports.

And don't get me wrong on this guys, I'm just trying to understand whats going on, on this one. I'm all for equal rights, but If blacks want to have an all blacks only school or scholarship, than whites should have the same if they want.

 

Way better until you start instating the rules. If the refs would start calling everything wrong, they wouldn't be any better.

 

Well you never know, there will be a day that comes that we either protect everyone for some certain reason [I am not saying that there is not purpose with many aspects of our current laws - IMO it is a case-by-case deal - It is abused like any of our laws] or we will all be so mixed that we can start over and build more on personal responsibilty and personal integrity more than legislated behavior requirements.

 

No, they play street ball better. Basketball has rules, and just because superstars bring in money doesn't mean the rules of the game should be different.

 

All the chances to play are out there. There aren't rules stating that black individuals have to play ball and whites can't. Any white person can get into practice and develop themselves to play at any level they want.

The WTF comes from how this guy thought he would get hit with a shit ton of lawsuits and bad publicity. You think there is ANY business in the US that'll sponsor a league like this?? and you think there isn't a lawyer for NAACP or some other rght group that won't try to sign up someone who doesn't fit the rules and then sue the shit outta him??

Couldnt agree more here. All the other races can exclude us, but as soon as we try the same thing, bam! RACIST! If they wont let us do it, then dont let them.

I'm tired of the race card being an excuse. Can't I just hate you because your an ass, not black. Can't I not hire you because you do not qualify, not because you're Mexican.
