Act of Valor- new movie

Watched Mission Impossible with the GF last night and saw this trailer. Looks pretty awesome. Do you guys think it will be good? I'm surprised they got active Navy Seals to do this sorta thing.

i think it looks pretty sweet ill probably see it. Im also surprised they would use real Navy Seals.

Was AWSOME. There are no actors. They are all actual navy seals. Highly recommended

Correction: everyone in the movie is in 1 of the branches of the military.

 

It was awesome. definitely worth going to see.

 

I'm in the SOF community and I thought it was pretty good. Deff a must see

 

I thought it was great to. You could tell they werent actors, but that made it even better.

 

Not all of them are NAVY SEALS. IE the guys on the boats,(NAVY SWCC) guys flying the helos. (ARMY 160th SOAR)

It kind of bothered me to hear a lot of news reporters saying everyone in uniform is a SEAL. Gotta give credit where it's due.

 

It does seem like a really good movie.. hope i can go see it sometime soon!

 

That's my bad. I should have said everyone is in some branch of the military.

What bothered me is no one in the media cares about the other guys in the movie.

 

I'd like to see it, but most likely won't for a while. It seems like a huge PR move for the Navy. Join wanting to go to BUDs, stay for whatever job the Navy tells you to do.

 

Very good movie, everyone stood and clapped at the end.

 

Was originally gonna be a recruiting video.

 

I couldn't agree more. My dad served in the national guard for 22 years and served over seas for 12 months. Some People almost viewed his service as if it wasn't as prestigious as others. My heart goes out to all branches of the military.
