Going to get the bilsteins for the front because it sits high in rear end now ,but much better ride .

Option 1:
Factory 17's with 265/75/17 BFG A/T KO
Price: $1580 cdn

Option 2:
16" FJ TRD Rims with 265/75/16 BFG A/T KO
Price: 2650

Both prices include 5 tires or tires/rims as I would be changing tire sizes.

For consideration: dealership sale; parts manager willing to take factory rims and tires on trade. Up to 80 for the rubber and up to 100 for the rims, each. Also Canadian dollars.

I'm posting this from my iPhone so no poll til I get home later.

I discovered that the area where I normally deer hunt is now overgrown with locust saplings and misc other crap that is 6-8' tall. If you don't know anything about locusts, they have 3-6" steel hard thorns. I want to take my truck and beat down a path so that I can get on the property to hunt but clearly don't want 4 flat tires.

Any ideas on how I could get a set of super cheap rims (6 lug) and tires to use for this purpose? I would think that a junk yard would still want a decent amount for rims but I don't even need anything that is road worthy. I'm thinking I could pull off the highway, jack up the truck and swap the wheels and then beat crap down till my heart is content.

Any thoughts?

My tires which are Firestone destination LE are starting to wear down a little bit. Ive been looking online at a few tires and found one kind, the firestone destination M/T. Its kinda cheap and it will fit my truck without me having to do a lift. Wat do yall think? Is this a good tire? Any other good ones out there for a reasonable price? Found these online for around 600 bucks for all.
