In a perfect world I would have 2 sets but this world is far from perfect. The only off-roading that I do involves mostly sloppy mud and snow. Thanks for your help!

When i picked it up, the place said that my front wheel bearings were very loose and needed to be repacked/ replaced, and quoted me almost $800!!! Would this be about right? I thought you could get a whole new Hub/ bearing assembly for around 120 bucks? What am i misunderstanding here?
Thanks in advance

I have a 05 4x4 tacoma, i just purchased a 3" tuff country suspension lift for, i was wondering what is a good tire that will make it look tough but still a road worthy tire. I was looking at the Nitto Mud Grapplers, im afraid thats too much for just the 3" lift, but they do look pretty sweet. Do yall think that a 32x10.50 mud grappler would look stupid with a 3" lift? My truck is stock silver color, and im thinking maybe getting some black ultra guliath wheels, would black on silver look good from everyones experiance with looking at it in person? Thanks alot for any responses

I found a set of 17" FJ Cruiser Steelies for my '07 pre-runner!

So.... what tires should I get?

07 Pre-Runner Off-Road.
:: No plans to lift it
:: Most driving (sadly) in town :(
:: Once in a while - dirt and a little off-road. Have only used my locker 2 times! (I work too much...)

My most extreme uses are getting to trailheads for hiking and biking. Example: driving up to Roger's Trough in the Superstitions. Although, I would like to come out once in a while with the other AZ dirtheads on here to see what can be done with a stock pre-runner!

Truthfully, the Rugged Trail TA's that came stock with it fit my needs pretty well.

Edit... what size should I get?

Any suggestions?

I did a search sorry if i'm :deadhorse: just didn't find my answer.

I have a 2007 tacoma 4x4. I want to get either the pro comp 1079's or the Mickey Thompson Classic II's in a 16x8 wheel. The MT's have a 4 7/16" backspacing and 0 offset, the procomp's have a 4" backspace with a -11 offset.

Besides the whole caliper crap will they fit ok?

Also lug or hub centric????

Thanks.

so i have general grabber at2's and the back ones have been wearing down so much im not really sure why because they're only at about 31psi and i dont drive it hard on asphalt that much.

there is rips on both sides starting in the middle all around the tire. how much longer can i go on these?

because i was going to wait to get 33's but dont really have the money right now. and i do not want to get 31's again to prolong my waiting for 33's.

so is there anyway besides getting new tires taht this can be fixed?
