I want to lift my truck about 2.5-3in. I was looking at the cornfed lifts here. I have a 4cyl 5 lugger (non 4x4). Will the 2.5in complete kit work? (Rancho upgrade)

Anybody have other suggestions for better kits at a similar price?

Also, what else do I need to know about installing a kit. Keep in mind im fairly new to the world of trucks/cars.

I don't haul anything really. Some light offroading may happen from time to time.

Thanks a lot guys/girls!

I was driving my Tacoma earlier today, and as it shifted into 4th it made a hard "thunk" noise while engaging the gear. After in gear it was fine until it down shifted and did it again. I got home and checked the fluid, and it seems fine. I did a little inspecting and didn't notice anything visibly wrong. I took it for another test drive, and it shifts from 1st-3rd smooth and easily, but once it hits 4th it has the hard clunking shift. It didn't matter if I was hard or easy on the throttle, once it hits 4th it shifts really hard and makes a "thunk" sound. Any ideas? It has me a little worried.

I just hit 90K and I am thinking I should do a brake fluid flush. What is the proper way to bleed them?

1. right rear
2. left rear
3. right front
4. left front

Let me know if this is right.

Also as far as changing the transmission fluid is the main consensus to just get it done at an auto body shop since not all of the fluid comes out when just draining and replacing?

Does everyone replace the boots on the direct coil connection when doing the wires?

So I finally got my Costco Coverkings delivered and installed. I took the seats out to do it so I could deep clean the inside, and the seats where decently easy to do. My question is "what the hell do I do with the armrest cover?????" Looking at it, either they sent me the wrong one, there's a piece missing, or they designed it so that you can't use the inside of the armrest, which I use daily for change, paper, pens, etc. I know at least a few of you must have these, could you tell me what I'm doing wrong???
