FJ Owners: I am going to buy a 4-Runner or an FJ in the next year or so and would like to know if a person can sleep comfortably in the back of an FJ. I am about 6'-2", and at 55, I am growing tired of pitching tents!

    Thanks. :)

    hahahaha

With the middle seats down, you could easily curl up in the back with a sleeping bag.

Heheheh...That's what I thought after seeing one up close yesterday. I need a bit more room!!! It looks like the 4-runner will be the next rig.

    Thanks for the chuckle! :D

you would have to remove the rear seats to have any room to sleep in back. I'm 6'2" and can't stretch out at all in back with back seats laid forward. they don't lay flat. I bought a full mesh Baja Rack and it is perfect for sleeping on.
