Whats in you FJ and EDC bag????

Whats up guys/gals the other day I traded out my EDC bag (Every Day Carry) and it got me wondering what everyone carried with them on a daily basis. In other words your SHTF plan. Most people dont want to go it to their specific plans I understand that. Thought I would post this up for Tips advice whatever on peoples Bug out Bags,EDC bags and FJ supplies. I'll start off with my new edc bag vs my old one. I had a UTG shoulder bag that served me well but I had been on the look out for a small backpack in case I ended up walking some distance. Now this is not my BOB/72hr bag that always stays in the FJ or on a long trip in another vehicle goes with me. My work on any shift can end up taking me hundred miles away from my FJ thats parked at the station. So my small bag has enough stuff to get me by until I can get back to the FJ. I will post some pics up and contents after. Let me know what you think or what you carry post up pics of your set up.

Good post, always better to be prepared for the unexpected.
All I have in my FJ right now is a basic first aid kit, and a tool box.

 

Thanks brother I try not to go overboard but thought if I'm 50 plus miles away from home for work thought if I ever have to get home without a ride what would I wish I had.

Amen brother! Mines can always be tweaked but I try to stay prepared.

 

about the spare AA/AAA batteries- any preference on lithium or some kind of 'heavy duty' battery that would store better in a hot/ cold car?

 

Believe it or not they all have same self life. If they are kept cool they do last longer from what I've found on line on a few different mfg's websites. I just switch them out once a year if I haven't used them by then.

Hey guys sorry been so long update switched bags to a maxpedition falcon 2 great sturdy well built recommend any of their packs. Contents pretty much the same try to concentrate on making it a 24 hour bag and not stuff it full of stuff I don't need. Will post some pics up soon as I can get to laptop. Stay safe out there

This is a cool idea for a thread. I don't necessarily have a go bag, but I have thought about getting some sort of over the shoulder bag to keep my firearm and other items in.
