Haha do you have any suggestions for me before I start the project? Is this a project that's first step says "start with a beer"?

Just have someone there to help you. That 3rd member can get heavy fast laying on your back trying to get it lined up and back in. Also you might need them to help bleed the brakes when your done. I don't think on our trucks you can get the axle slid far enough out with the brake line still connected. I am sure if you look around on here you can find a write up about changing one that might give you some tips. I havn't changed the 3rd out on a toyota diff yet, but I have had to pull the axles out and change the bearings on both sides on my truck.

The worst thing you will see is going to be some soft sand, and I think we might get some rain before sunday so that will help. As long as you have someplace to hook a rope too, don't worry about it. Someone will be there to pull you out if need be. And don't worry about bald tires, they won't dig down as fast and end up stuck.lol

Most of the roads in croom are pretty open, but there are a couple with a few tight spots. I think those roads are closed now anyhow so we don't have to worry about them.

    Does Plasti-Dip count as a mod ?
Croom and Citrus are both pretty easy compared to what you might be used to.
Mostly sand. A little mud if it's been raining. Most of the trails are straight and have go arounds for the mud holes. There are a few technical spots, but they aren't anything 'hard'.

Most of the stuff could be done in 2wd.

X2 on it bein done in a 2wd. I live between croom and citrus and have had few problems. I've been stuck twice but the 2nd time I just gassed it and pulled right out
