Have not followed your adventures 100%...before buying calipers, have you swapped front tires L>R / R>L and see if the problem follows.

Yes, you kind of buried it last year. No big deal. Not sure how much off road stuff you have been doing, but consider also, practice driving those situations does help. Not so much just sliding around, but putting the truck where you want it.

Consider the three blue trucks and the earlier trucks were killing it and it was not just the trucks. Driver skill played a part also.

    I have a few mods
I haven't had the chance to properly get under the front end and see what is causing the popping, it sounds like something is binding or not able to move or something. I'll have it fixed hopefully before citrus lol.

I've been doing a good amount of wheeling since last citrus and I've learned a lot about what my truck can and can't take. Citrus in Jan was my 2nd wheeling adventure and really didn't know all of what I was doing lol. But out of everything I have been through...speed is my friend, as long as I don't stop, I'm good lol. Can't wait for this next citrus meet, it's gonna be awesome

Yes, practice helps, and truth be told, I stink at off-road with 4 wheels and truly prefer 2 wheels.

FWIW, though, I was bit nervous last year as you kept sliding sideways in the wrong direction (towards the trees).

I hope we can attend. Like you I have couple things I would like done to the truck before we go.

Is the popping when you turn or just in general?

I get it when Im back up and turning and then when i go into drive and turn the wheel back, which kinda leads me to believe the tie rods and also when I start to speed up from a stop every now and then. my brakes have been making that metal squealing sound even though my pads are still pretty much good...so I have no idea

It's possible jack it up grab the bottom and top of your tire and see if you can shake it back and forth

Well after putting on my set up I get a pop when I turn and not sure what it is. Not sure about backing up, haven't noticed. I do notice my LR UCAs handled better than these uniballs. Turning was easier and smoother.

They talk them up cause half of them live on the west coast and/or have long travel. Your trucks will never use the potential of a uniball. Now you know doe lol
