my favorite one is off 20 just past adams trees. its a numbered forest road. go down prob a mile and theres a logging road on the right filled with rocks at the beginning. it use to get pretty nasty. it leads to many other roads and will come out to another main road. a gps would be helpful to learn the roads as well

Look up Appalachicola (probably spelled wrong) National Forest. I believe you can wheel there and it shouldnt be too far from you

325 is the numbered road just past adams trees. it runs into 301 and then they never end from there. the trail i was talking about is off of 325 about 1 mile south of state road 20. talquin management area is on the north side of 20 and the apalachicola state forest is on the south side where these roads are i mentioned.

Sorry, just noticed your post. I haven't been out in the forest for quite some time. There are a couple of decent trails. Watch out for deep water holes though...assuming there are any left due to the drought. Also, I understand that the forest service is pretty tight on off-roaders these days in the ANF. Hence the reason I haven't been in awhile. When it does rain, some of the main roads are fun to play on b/c they get pretty mushy. I think I saved some of my travels on my GPS. I can plug the data into Google Earth to see where I went. I definitely recommend using a GPS like jrider636 noted previously.

There is a reason they are closed and by wheeling in closed areas does not help the OHV community as a whole. Please think about why you shouldn't be doing it and consider stopping.

Looks like the latest one. I have one that's in color that shows most of the trails but it's probably the one for ATV's and such.

We found a few good areas that time we went out there. My favorite was the longer water crossing with the heavy tree canopy and gravel bottom. Deep water too.

I ride 325 to 301 all the time, fun little driver with a few areas that usually have a little water to splash around in. The dog loves going out there and running around as well.

It's the latest one. I have it saved in .pdf on both my ipod and my girlfriends iPad, so I literally always have a copy.

Sounds like we've got interest in a Apalachicola meet?...

My avatar pic was taken on 301.

Short notice, but Thursday or Friday I may like to try and go out to the Forest. Probably gonna explore 325 a little more and look for some of the lakes that are out there. Anybody wanna join?

My truck isn't ready mechanically right now but I'd be down to ride shotgun and spot. Could also bring my GoPro and/or camera. Any interest in the hooters thing still?
