    not really. the 2wd guys keep up pretty well for the most part. other than any mud, there is onyl one or two spots that wequire 4x4 for articulation or incline reasons.

    we had some people get stuck in the water filled holes, and then ryan got hung up playing around in one of the harder parts, but it was because he got his rear diff hung up when his tires were in some washouts.

    it's the kind of place that's as hard as you want to make it.

    I dont want to be 'good' with 2wd. I want to use my 4x4!

    Otherwise this is just driving 4 hours to meet a bunch of strangers and drive dirt roads through the woods

    There are spots you can use 4x4 but if you ride around in 2wd it makes things much more interesting, then if you cant make it, put it in 4wd, if you still cant make it, lock it, and if you STILL cant make it....:pout:

    I do seem to remember seeing a video where someone needed a Tacoma and an FJ to get "unstuck", wonder who this person could have been? :rolleyes:

    I ran the whole weekend in 2wd too and maybe got stuck once or twice. No biggie. :cool:

    Will probably be buying a whole new rear setup and should have my tube bumper and winch and possibly a locker by then.

    There's a girl at school with a 1st gen. I was driving behind her one day and her damn leaves have a lot of movement. Doesn't look good at all...

    jason came from jacksonville last year. compared to some, that's an easy drive. and as long as you get the wheel bearing done by then, you should be ok. a shot suspension won't hinder you're trucks ability really. it'll just make you a little more sore the next morning.
