The Z71 dropped off in this mud hole...... it was deep, would have swallowed my truck....

Wish I had caught it on video.....but no one did....

Here is pic of aftermath.......thought I was gonna have to pull him out....

But after about 10-15 times of flooring it back and forth, it finally pulled itself out in reverse

That's an oddly steep RTI ramp. it's not the "right way", but try it backwards next time and you'll get a little farther up.

I thought the same thing........I actually rubbed my front bumper on the ramp....

Tried going up backwards, but this bumper I have is too low.....and it hit the ramp

We watched 10-12 jeeps try going up it.....I went farther than any of them did....

Even buddies Z71 went farther than the jeeps

yeah, you can see your front hitting in one of the pictures lol.

downside to jeeps is that unless you have a long arm kit, they are junk for flexing.

longer wheel base also helps you get farther up the RTI ramps

yeah, it's not a feeling you get used to very easily. our trucks will go to about 30-35 degrees before you have to really start worrying. luckily, unless you get a running start, it's really hard to get that far on an RTI ramp. my roll meter usually reads 15-20 degrees on ramps.

Stock struts with preload spacers giving 3" of lift up front
    pretty stiff

    no sway bar

not sure what degree i was at ....?

on ramps like that, the spacer will make you tilt more, but the lack of sway bar will help keep you more level

Yeah this was first time out without swaybar
WOW I love it ...so much better

Downside to no swaybar -- when hitting a pothole with only one front tire, the tire drops into hole very rapidly...causing a loud sharp thud
Otherwise, it is much smoother on and off road :)

it's probably the preload spacer causing that when you hit potholes. the shock is not valved for the amount of force the spring is now exerting. usually it's smoother through potholes without a sway bar because now the one tire drops out instead of causing the entire truck to tilt towards the hole.
