    There's a shop over here called Dependable drive shafts. They're located by sunshine speedway off 49th st. They rebooted my front drive shaft on my dodge but the angle was too much & it blew out again so they built me a whole new one. Cant remember the cost but seemed like good work, some of the mudding guys I know use them.

    Cool, thanks. I think there might be one off US 301 called Driveline Specialists or something as well. Dunno if they do CVs or not though. I'm just not sure what I want to do. On the one hand, I don't want to spend money rebooting the OEMs if I'm just going to break them like I did at the June meet. On the other hand, if they prove to be tough enough to handle the abuse for more than a couple years, then it would suck to toast them due to a blown out boot. Of course, if it cost more than $60 to have them rebooted, I could just buy a whole new CV axle with a lifetime warranty to use as a spare. :p

    Rgr. We'll have to see if I destroy my shoulder again with the CV change. If nothing else, I could probably come by for moral support. ;)

    Gotta mow the grass tomorrow so I'll probably tackle the CVs Tuesday...depending on how motivated I'm feeling. :rolleyes:

    Oh, and a tip for the rear brakes...take a good detailed picture of them (after you remove the drum) before you take anything apart. That way you can reference it while putting things back together. ;)
