Heh, if it was Citrus, I'd be there, even though I'd probably be more likely to embarrass us with my open diffs and 31" Mall Terrains. Not ready for Hardrock yet though.

Edit: not to mention being a total noob to that sort of stuff.

Some pics and videos here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/florida/267663-return-pits-2010trd-birthday-bash.html

Simply search "hardrock Ocala" or "area 51" on YouTube
There are countless videos of the secret pits

Hardrock is an OHV park open to the public ..$25 per vehicle
A-pit/B-pit are a secret location that you must have 4x4 to get in and out of

Hardrock is doable with 2wd ..but as many have found, 4wd makes it alot easier

As long as you have some decent tires, you should have a blast out here

It's alot of rocks and steep hill climbs
Hardrocks trails are groomed with a dozer
Where as the secret pits are the most extreme challenging trails/terrain in Florida
I have steel bumper skids and sliders so I can go in the pits with no worries

To ride hardrock, armor isn't necessary
With finesse, armor isn't required to ride secret pits either

Hey Thomas, do you guys meet up at any specific place before entering the park, or do you just wander around until you bump into each other?

Being you have 4wd ..you will do fine at hardrock .. It's pretty tame

As for the secret pits... Aggressive tires, armor, and scratches to paint ..are required

It's tempting. I'm really itching to do some wheelin'. Maybe I'll talk myself into it by the time the event rolls around. To be honest, if it didn't cost $25 to get in, I'd probably be a lot less hesitant. I guess I'm kind of a tightwad, lol.

It would be a good shake down trip for the Taco though.
