WOW just checked the youtube vids out. Some pretty deep spots for sure. I wish I had a snorkel. Have you done the Diff Breather relocation mod yet? I haven't .

 

No I haven't but I just changed the fluid about a month ago ( after several trips out there) and had no fluid in the diff.

 

I ordered the parts and they should have been here today for that mod but no call back from Coggin Toyota

We should get some sort of "sign-up" roster going for who is bringing grills and whatnot. Everyone should be responsible for their own food and drinks, but there's no need to have a dozen grills there.

For anyone that is familiar with the area: Are there any grills/fire pits where we will be posting up?

 

Curtis is brining a small tabletop grill and that is all I have been informed of thus far. I will start adding to the list on the original post for certain items if guys will start throwing in what they will bring (Grill, Charcoal, Lighterfluid, plates, forks, ice?, cups needed? etc etc., I'll grab one bag of Charcoal and lighter fluid.

I am not sure about grills on location.

I have a piece of "grill" I picked up from Home Depot a while back as my "emergency grill" I keep in my truck for camping in case I don't have anything. Just needs a couple blocks or wood to raise it up off the ground. We can use this if no one has anything else, it has never been used.

 

I'll bring my grill from the backyard for sure I'll secure it to a tree even tough I don't think I will have a problem. Never have I. The past when we were camping. I will be able to knock out quite a bit of cooking on that. I will be bringing extra food as well for pal I don't know how many pal we will have I am sure I will not be able to feed everyone. In my party there will be two trucks my taco and if my buddy comes there will be a Chevy Silverado on 37's (93 I think). And a total of 6 ppl... maybe 9... we will see

 

Sounds like a plan! Thanks a lot Curtis, Gas grill? Do I need charcoal? I'll bring some burgers or dogs for sure.

 

I've got some charcoal and I'd be glad to bring some paper stuff, plates, plastiware, towels.

Yeah I have a couple friends that live right there too. I wonder how they like it when loud a$$ trucks come through.

 

ok Curtis has a gas grill so no need for charcoal unless someone is bringing a charcoal grill.

Yeah that is what I figured. I honestly hope the water isn't that high. I have nothing "waterproofed" and don't wanna mess up a truck I still owe so much on lol!
Full coverage insurance is my best friend.

 

Lol I owe more than its worth b/c the first year I owned it I put 40k on it... but the door seals work great! And the intake hasn't been under water... yet... I have had it close a couple times... but we should be all OK out there.

 

I trust your judgment. I always wonder how good the door seals would work because I see guys on here get water damage and flood out the inside all the time.
